For me, it started with headaches and a very unnatural scent from the store bought candles I purchased. At first I thought it was an allergy to a specific candle scent or a combined scent profile, so I switched brands from Yankee Candle to White Candle Barn (Bath and Body Works), only to find out that I was still having the same issues.
Sinus congestion, headaches, and a constant smell of something artificial around my home.

I learned after researching many mass produced brands, including high end brands, that
they use paraffin wax and / or phthalates (an oil based product used in making plastics stronger) in their products. In case you didn't know, paraffin wax is made from petroleum and is also used as a kitchen sealant. It's not meant to be burned in a candle, but yet many companies use this type of wax in their candles since the product is known to hold candle scents better and allow molded candles (non-container) retain its shape.
Paraffin wax is also very cheap compared to bee's wax, which bee's wax is a great natural solution to paraffin wax, as it helps molded candles retain their shape just as well as paraffin wax but without the harmful additives of petroleum affecting the air quality inside your home or office.
Spirit Of Twilight candles are known to sell out at local vendor events, simply because I have gained the trust of my customers in delivering the best product by mastering the balance of Eco Friendly ingredients and making a premium smelling product, while following the safety guidelines recommended by the raw product manufacturer and FDA recommendations for aromatherapy and cosmetic products.
Cosmetic products? I thought we were talking about candles?

Well, we are. But candle scents made from essential oils and raw essential oils are also widely used in lotions and soap products. Even though these products come from a plant or herb, they can be harmful to breathe in or when coming in contact with your skin, if the scented oil in a product exceeds a percentage threshold over the other ingredients.
And this, my friend, is what makes Spirit Of Twilight candles different. Formulation, experimentation, evaluation, and completion.
